Q2. Why is Cat6A or Cat7 recommended for 10Gbps operation?

10GBASE-T requires higher-quality cabling and improved signal performance compared with conventional Gigabit Ethernet. Cat6A and Cat7 cabling provide the bandwidth and transmission characteristics required for reliable 10Gbps operation over distances up to 100m under appropriate installation conditions.

Q3. Can this module connect an SFP+ switch directly to an RJ45 device?

Yes. The module converts the electrical interface of the SFP+ host port into an RJ45 copper Ethernet connection. This allows a compatible SFP+ switch or network device to connect directly to equipment using a standard RJ45 Ethernet port.

Q4. Does the module support DDM or DOM monitoring?

No. This particular model does not support DDM. If the host equipment requires digital diagnostic information for transceiver monitoring or management, compatibility should be confirmed before deployment.
