The 48-Fiber OM3 MTP/MPO Trunk Cable is a high-density multimode backbone assembly designed for data centers, structured fiber cabling systems, and high-speed short-reach network connections. It uses four 12-fiber MTP/MPO connectors at each end, providing 48 optical fibers in a compact micro-core cable construction. The assembly uses OM3 50/125μm multimode fiber and MTP® Elite® UPC connectors to provide reliable optical connectivity while helping reduce cable congestion and improve the use of rack and pathway space.

Configured with Type C polarity, the cable reverses fiber pairs between the two ends and can be integrated into compatible MTP/MPO structured cabling architectures.
